Race Report by Star Racing Yamaha, powered by Antigravity Batteries

The 2019 Pro Motocross Series came to an end at the Ironman Raceway in Indiana. Dylan Ferrandis could not be faulted for his efforts at trying to claim another championship. He had two solid races, which resulted in two moto wins and the overall win. Unfortunately, a perfect score was not enough, going into this round with a thirty-point deficit, and he finished second in the Championship. Justin Cooper also gave it his all in the final round. He battled with Ferrandis in both motos. He went three-two, for second overall and ended third in the Championship. Ty Masterpool finished ten-twelve, for eleventh overall. Mitchell Oldenburg crashed out in the first moto, which ended his day of racing. Nichols did not race because of an injury he sustained at the previous round.

The two Monster Energy/Star Racing/Yamahas of Dylan Ferrandis and Justin Cooper pushed each other into first and second position. With Ferrandis in the lead, Cooper continued to push and battled with his teammate for the lead. After a few laps, Cooper successfully made a pass. Oldenburg crashed out halfway through the moto and was unable to finish the moto. Masterpool began working his way forward and broke into the top ten. Late into the moto Ferrandis reclaimed the lead. He went on to take the moto win. Cooper lost one more position and finished third. Masterpool ended in tenth.

Cooper then had some pressure coming from behind, but he got on the gas and caught back up to Ferrandis. The race ended and Ferrandis crossed the checked flag victorious once again. Cooper charged till the very end and ended in second. Rookie, Masterpool ended his last race of the season, in twelfth.
