This is Antigravity’s Hi-Power version of the YT12-BS case format. This battery has 480 Cranking Amps yet it weighs only 3 lbs. It is a direct replacement for most all Ducati motorcycles as well as many others. It offers TWICE the cranking power over the lead/acid version of the battery while being about 5 pounds lighter! Great for those seeking extra power and capacity over our standard 12-Cell version. Also great for use in Race Cars.

Review of ANTIGRAVITY YT12-BS 16 Cell.
Being the owner of a Ducati 1098 with a blueprinted engine, Pankl con rods, lightened crank, slightly raised compression (not race specific), full termi and upgraded chassis I eagerly looked forward to ride the bike.
What happened next was disappointing. The poor YUASA YT12-BS struggled to crank the engine. It simple wasn’t up for the task.
Going into research mode, finding ANTIGRAVITY, comparing it with SHORAI – deciding for ANTIGRAVITY, ordering (smoothlessly), receiving, installing.
Tense as I was, ignition on and push the button – engine springs alive.
Plenty og cranking power and plenty of voltage to generate a sufficient spark.
One happy owner of an ANTIGRAVITY battery. And it drops 1,8 kilograms over the YUASA as a bonus. The best battery I’ve had.

900 SS – Works perfect, Easy start every time and full combustion like with dual spark.
The weight loss under the tank is obvious when riding.
916 – Had to change the fuel pump fuse to a 25 amp (20 as standard) even with a new filter but that was all, works perfect couldn’t be better.
999 – Known to be difficult to start caused by the weak minus cable, after changing to Gravity all starting problems were gone, never worked better.

I have a 1966 Electra glide. Long time ago I built an all stainless steal oil bag and battery box. Back then the largest battery I could find except for Harley was a Honda 750.This battery had only 64 CCA. I needed to find a battery that would fit with more power. Wow 480 CCA what a difference I love this battery.
