Antigravity AG-802

Small Case Lithium 6v Powersports Battery

The Antigravity AG-802 is a reliable Lithium 6-Volt Battery in an ultra compact case. It measures at 4.375 x 2.37 x 3.75 inches (LxWxH to the top of the terminals). The current 6-Volt lead acid/batteries offered on today’s market are extremely unreliable and really not worth the effort as replacements. I have an early 69 (k1 or k1a as some call it) Honda trail 90, those that own these know all too well how difficult the battery situation can be on these bikes. They’re kick start, so starting power isn’t a big deal, in fact the battery acts more as a capacitor/regulator. If running wide open it’s been known to boil over conventional 6v batteries like would’ve come from the factory (where you fill it with acid). Sealed AGM batteries can also work but they too aren’t meant to take the vibration, abuse, and charging conditions. With this battery it’s sealed, built very rugged, and won’t allow overcharging if used at higher RPM. I replaced the rectified/regulator with a modern full-wave unit from Brain Tarp (see eBay). My indicator, brake, and other lights are 6v LED converted (my headlight will be LED soon/I have the kit on hand), and I’m running a Tytronic CDI conversion.

During this summer, with several hundred miles of usage on the battery/this setup I’ve had absolutely no issues at all. I’ve put the battery on a tender for the first time (be sure to get a 6v lithium specific tender), but I have little doubt that it would last all winter without that being totally necessary.

I use Antigravity Batteries in my full size bike, ATV, 2 race cars (a Miata and BMW 1 series) and trust them completely. By far the best vehicle batteries I’ve ever owned or used. Bar none.
