Antigravity Batteries is attending the massive annual Bimmerfest event at the Auto Club Speedway this weekend in Fontana California! Bimmerfest is known for being the biggest North American grassroots BMW car show – this year attracting 10-15 thousand people. The 2-day event is packed to the brim with activities, with both days featuring On-Track Racing to watch, a Road Course Challenge, Hot Laps with professional drivers, and Dyno Runs to see how much power your BWW has. There is also a special Featured Model Car Corral, this year dedicated to the sought after E30 M3 that started it all.
Saturday was highlighted by an amazing display of cars competing in the Battle of the Bimmers. BMW cars were judged in 8 different award categories including classics, stock or modified builds, and Best in Show. This year had some particularly well modified cars, and some super clean OEM builds too.
Today, Sunday, will hold the World Record Parade Lap on Track. The current World Record for a BMW parade is only 178 BMWs. Bimmerfest has plenty of BMWs to beat the record and a perfect race track to parade on!
