Congrats to Ryan Piplic for landing 2nd place in the Pro Production class of the WORCS Championship! The final race of the year, round 11, took off at the Adelanto Stadium last weekend. Here is Ryan’s 2017 year-end race report.
The 2017 WORCS season has come to an end. I feel I know how to race WORCS really well and survive the season and always stay consistent. That has always been my plan every year, if you can finish every race and play it smart you will find yourself in the mix at the end of the season going for the championship.
Every year it gets harder to stay consistent: the speed increases machines get faster people get faster. That pushes you to push yourself, everyone wants that win every race. I say it every year bar none the WORCS SXS racers are the fastest drivers anywhere! I’ve raced many different series and nothing compares to the speed and talent it takes to win at WORCS. Maybe it’s luck but to be lucky you first need skill and determination then you need consistency. Once you find those it will all fall into place and the goals you set for yourself will follow.
I’ve always surrounded myself with what I consider to be the best In the industry. If I’m using and supported by a company it’s because I believe in what they are selling! A lot of times I will purchase a product and try it out to see if it works before I approach a company.
I can’t thank the great companies that have stepped up to help my race program to be what it is today! That is why since I started racing SXS back in 2012 I have earned 3 championships 3-2nd places and a 4th. I would like to say I have done good for myself but I always think back on what could I have done better and I apply that and use it as motivation to improve myself.
