SXS Pro racer Ryan Piplic had a great start running second for the majority of the race and was sitting good to win… Then he hit a bad line in the dust which resulted in a major crash. But his Polaris RZR did its job and kept him safe, and he was able to get upright to continue the race to the finish. Piplic was still able to manage a 6th place finish despite the crash.
