Capping off October we spent 4 days at the Allegiant Power Member Conference in Palm Springs CA. This is not your typical battery conference, and it was a great way to build up momentum on our way to the big SEMA Show we attend each year at the Las Vegas Convention Center. Held annually the first week of November, SEMA is the premier automotive specialty products tradeshow. Thousands of the industry’s hottest cars and aftermarket products, and the world’s finest tuners and modifiers, all come together in one massive place.
SEMA is also where the Micro-Start received a Best New Product award plus 2 global media awards back in 2013 when it was the first mini jump-starter on the market. This year we showcased our newest Micro-Start XP-10-HD Heavy Duty model along with our new RE-START battery, the first ever with built-in jump-starting… but we had a special guest at our booth as well: the P51 Combat Fighter handcrafted by Confederate Motors. Some may even recognize this rebel road-going machine from its inclusion in the “Transformers: The Last Knight” movie as Mohawk, the Decepticon motorcycle punk.
