AmPro Yamaha Race Team GNCC Round 6

The 6th Round of the Grand National Cross Country (GNCC) Series took place last weekend in Peru, Indiana. It was also the First off-road racing event held at the X-Factor Whitetails Farm, a world-class hunting preserve. The surrounding environment is noticeably flat but the woods offer rolling hills and new trail. This competition had been postponed for two weeks due to bad weather forecasts; and still the conditions were absolutely terrible, as the mud and rain shortened the day and the race track tremendously.

Ricky Russell charged his Yamaha YZ450FX to a solid podium position, battling upfront all day and settling in with a 3rd place finish.

Josh Toth unfortunately broke his winning streak this round with a bit of bad luck and some rogue barbed-wire. However, he stayed focused and was able to salvage a 4th place finish, holding onto the points lead as the N-Fab AmPro Yamaha Team heads into round 7!
