Houghton Back To His Winning Ways, CSCS Rd1

Antigravity-sponsored driver James Houghton and his Unlimited FWD Time Attack team debuted their new turbo powerplant at the Global Time attack event at Road Atlanta and had a weekend they would rather forget. This past Sunday at the opening round of the 2018 Canadian Sport Compact Series they got the redemption they deserved. Changes were made in the intervening two weeks to the K-Tuned Acura that included a new Garrett Turbo intercooler core, new ducting and a new intake. The changes offered a drastic reduction in air intake temperature which was one of their main problems at Atlanta.

It was particularly apt that James would not only win his class but also laid down the Fastest Time of the Day at the season opener that was presented by his lubrication sponsor, Millers Oils. A happy Houghton stated,

“It felt good getting back to winning, Atlanta was a huge low for us but with the majority of the car issues solved we can continue our regular scheduled program of finding more speed in the car. It was good to win for Bill Comat and Millers Oils, this is our second year with them and their products have performed flawlessly in that time. I was very happy to see Millers come on board as a major CSCS sponsor and can only recommend them highly to all the other racers.”
