In round 3 of TrackBattle, over 60 cars battled it out under the hot sun on 3 different track configurations. 3 track records and 28 class records were shattered throughout the weekend.
Gridlife TrackBattle is a multi-event time attack series. Instead of wheel-to-wheel racing, drivers compete against the clock to see what cars and what teams are fastest over the course of a weekend. It is open to all makes and models and all drive train layouts, from all wheel drive to front wheel drive. Each competitor runs in a primary competition group based on modifications and drive train, FWD RWD AWD, in the following classes: HPDE Plus, Street Modified, Track Modified, or Unlimited.
James Houghton competes in the Unlimited class, which is for cars that are significantly modified beyond stock form. This group is for advanced and expert drivers only. The Unlimited FWD class is also where James set 3 new records this past weekend.
