Round 3 of the GNCC series is in the books and Washington, Georgia brought its fair share of ups and downs for the team. However, AmPro Yamaha Racing is building on this momentum for round 4 in North Carolina.
XC1
Ricky Russell had an incredible start aboard his YZ450FX jumping the field with the holeshot and leading the first 2 1/2 laps. Unfortunately, a stick would puncture his radiator, completely draining his bike of coolant and ending his day short.
XC2
Jonathan Johnson had the best race of his pro career, getting a great start and running in the top five for the majority of the day, finishing 6th in the XC2 pro lites division.
Super Mini
Grant Davis battled for the lead all morning aboard his YZ85 in the Super Mini Class, ending his day on the podium with a 2nd place finish, holding onto the points lead for the season.
